Product Design
Crafting the Backbone of Smarter Work Management
Designed the complete UI and UX for an internal platform, along with supporting visuals like posters, flyers, and social media graphics to drive team engagement.
Year :
2023
Industry :
Human Resources / IT
Project Duration :
6 weeks

Problem :
When I began this project, I identified a critical inefficiency within internal teams: day-to-day operations like attendance tracking, leave approvals, and expense reimbursements were scattered across disconnected tools and manual processes. This led to frequent delays, approval backlogs, and poor visibility for managers, ultimately affecting overall productivity.

Solution :
I designed a centralized employee management platform that streamlined these essential workflows into a single, mobile-first interface. Employees could now mark attendance, apply for leave, and submit expenses with ease, while managers gained access to real-time dashboards for faster review and approvals. Every component was designed to be intuitive, accessible, and role-specific — reducing unnecessary steps and guiding users through clean, actionable interfaces.

Challenge :
One of the major challenges was to balance simplicity and depth — creating an experience that felt effortless for employees while delivering robust data and control to managers. To tackle this, I created distinct UX flows for both personas, conducted usability tests across key journeys, and iterated based on real feedback. Ensuring fast performance on mobile, clear information hierarchy, and seamless navigation underpinned every decision.
Impact :
Reduced leave and expense approval turnaround time by 42%
Increased employee task completion rate by 65% within the first month of rollout
Helped reduce internal support tickets related to HR operations by 38%
Boosted platform engagement with over 40% of users active weekly
